I have been doing CrossFit off and on for two and a half years now. Over half of this time was at a different box across town, but when I moved last year and I wanted to find a box that was closer, I joined CrossFit Rockwall. Since being here at CFR, I have seen significant changes in my health and fitness.
My strength and endurance are increasing each week. I have put on about 10-15 pounds of muscle over the past 9 months of training. I expect these gains to continue if I can avoid missing 3 to 5 months of training this spring. This has been my problem in the past due to my busy spring work schedule. It takes a lot, both mentally and physically, to get back into CF once you have been away a long time away from training, so having a good box and good coaches helps a lot!
The thing I like best about training at CrossFit Rockwall is definitely the quality of instructors and the programming. CFR is much more hands-on than other CF gyms I have trained at in terms of teaching proper form and closely monitoring the students during the workouts. I feel like I have benefited a lot from the hands-on training with the instructors. They have really helped me develop much better form, especially with the weighted movements and Olympic lifting. I would recommend training at CFR to anyone who is looking for a positive lifestyle change in their health and fitness!
