David Capossela David started training at CrossFit Rockwall in February 2013. Growing up he participated in competitive gymnastics and qualified for the Arizona state team multiple years. After leaving gymnastics he satisfied his love of being upside down through high school pole vault and stayed involved with gymnastics by coaching children classes and teen tumbling. After moving to Rockwall, David was looking for a community to get involved with. He had done CrossFit during college and thought that CrossFit Rockwall may be a great fit. The challenging workouts got him in the door but the people kept him coming. The most important part of CrossFit to him is always challenging himself and his peers to reach new goals. He looks forward to helping both adults and children to live active and healthy lives! Certifications & Education

Ron Flanagan Ron has always been involved in sports and fitness. When Ron entered high school, he began seriously lifting weights and focusing on playing football. Ron had a successful high school football career and had short stint playing college football before he went into law enforcement. After college, Ron continued to lift weights and follow standard fitness routines. In 2005 a colleague had heard about this new fitness craze being practiced by some California Police, and Military called CrossFit. Ron’s first WOD was fight gone bad, and he was immediately hooked. Ron incorporated CrossFit into his workouts, but it wasn’t until eight years later when he found CrossFit Rockwall did he realize he wasn’t truly doing CrossFit as he could be. Mary, Woody, and other coaches quickly humbled Ron, and this only made him want to do it more. Ron is excited to now take on the role of Coach so that he can help others enjoy CrossFit as much as he does. Ron loves the community aspect of CrossFit Rockwall, and he wants to give back to it.
